What is a pre-order?
A pre-order lets you reserve a piece from a new collection, or from a limited or sold-out edition, before it's ready. These pieces are still being made when you order, so they take longer to reach you than in-stock items. The button on a pre-order product reads "Pre-order" instead of "Add to cart".
Why pre-order?
It guarantees your piece, in your size, before it's released. Our collections are made in limited quantities in Sri Lanka, and popular pieces often sell out before they arrive in stock.
How long will it take?
Each piece takes 3–4 weeks to make. Shipping time is on top of that, using the shipping option you chose at checkout. In total, expect your pre-order within about 5–6 weeks of ordering. See Shipping & Delivery.
Payment
Pre-orders are paid in full when you place your order.
Can there be delays?
Our pieces go through several production and finishing steps, so delays occasionally happen. If yours is delayed, we'll email you an updated date as soon as we know.
Ordering pre-order and in-stock items together
We'll hold the whole order and ship everything together when the pre-order item is ready. If you'd like your in-stock items sooner, place two separate orders. Each order pays its own shipping.
Changing or cancelling a pre-order
- Changes (product, size or quantity): within 2–3 business days of ordering.
- Cancellations: within 24 hours of ordering. After that, production has started and pre-orders can't be cancelled.
Email tharshana@tharshana.com with your order number.
Returns
Once delivered, pre-order items are covered by our Return Policy.
